Furry Friends Community Spay Clinic is a low-cost clinic offering spay and neuter services to pet owners with a financial hardship that prevents them from altering their animal as well as caretakers of feral, barn, and alley cats.
Because Furry Friends believes that spaying and neutering is key to reducing the number of animals entering shelters, it created the clinic to reach animals that otherwise would not be altered.
The clinic’s team, including a licensed veterinarian with over a decade of experience, cares for the animals with compassion in a modern and fully equipped surgery suite at 1209 Grand Ave., West Des Moines (next door to the main Furry Friends shelter).
